A Little Night Music

Mozart's famous Serenade Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, and Britten's pastoral song cycle, the Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings, with the Dover Quartet (2013 Protégé Project artists), Miró Quartet, Nick Phan, Allan Vogel and others.

Club Concert III

The Dover Quartet and special guest Gabriel Kahane perform Beethoven and Gabriel Kahane. Tickets ($20) on sale now through the CMNW Box Office (503-294-6400). General admission, all ages.

The Kahane Connection

Singer/songwriter Gabe Kahane is joined by his father, pianist/conductor Jeffrey Kahane, and conductor/violinist Joseph Swensen for an eclectic evening of what they describe as "an 18-course tasting menu round-robin with miniatures." Works by Bach, Kurtag, Ives, Kahane, Kern, Prokofiev, Schumann and Schubert.

Transcendent Trios

Carter Brey, principal cellist of the New York Philharmonic, makes his CMNW debut as part of KahaneSwensenBrey—the trio of virtuosos (with Jeffrey Kahane and Joseph Swensen) has reunited after a 25-year hiatus.

Viva Le Tango!

From the composer who brought you Mission Impossible, our season finale features Lalo Schifrin's tango-inspired "Letters from Argentina." The work's West Coast premiere, given at CMNW in 2005, sold out quickly!
