ROMP Join us for one or all three of these FREE Baroque-themed lectures presented February 8-9 by Reed College's ROMP! symposium on music and the liberal arts. Guest speakers include oboist Allan Vogel, architecture critic Robert Harbison and musicologist Wendy Heller.

Together two festival artists trace the epic narrative of Beethoven's creative output through the performance of all five cello sonatas. Ranging from his formative "early period" to his experimental "middle period" to his transcendent "late period," this comprehensive experience provides unmatchable context to the life and inspiration of one of history's most fascinating composers.

There will be two brief intermissions during this concert.
