Free Concert at Portland Art Museum

A favorite festival tradition in a new location! Enjoy our annual free concert on the Park Blocks at the Portland Art Museum. In partnership with the musuem's Art of the Louvre's Tuileries Garden exhibit, members of CMNW's Protégé Project perform a one-hour interactive concert of French masterpieces. Supervised children ages 5 and older are welcome to attend.

To apply to perform in any of CMNW's masterclasses, please submit application materials by May 12, 2014.

Family Open Rehearsal

11:30 am - 12:15 pm

Families are invited to engage with the Carnival of the Animals, and afterward join in for the CMNW tradition of a picnic on the lawn! Ages 5 and up are welcome. The concert is free and features an instrument petting zoo in the lobby starting at 11am. No reservations necessary. Just bring yourselves and your enthusiasm-- along with a picnic lunch, if you like-- and get ready for a great show!

Musical Conversations

In the concert hall from 7:00-7:30 pm, before all evening concerts at Reed and PSU, except July 3, 4, 5.

CMNW ticket holders are invited to attend free half-hour discussions with the artists before each evening concert. Gain unmatched perspective on the music from the very musicians performing it.
